Right now I have some birdseed out for Wrens and Yellow Wagtails, while I wait for my herb to flower for the Lop Bunnies. Wink

I'm hoping for another kiwi by the weekend, when my cumulus (only the one) should be a cloud, and also my cactus should be in flower then, so maybe the roadrunner will be dropping in cheers

NB When I say by the weekend I mean I should be able to start attracting the kiwi then, not that I will have had one by then...

Now I'm working on attracting an Australian King Parrot (and a Red Squirrel)!

I'm hoping for the Ostrich - I have only one Solaris though.. And I'm waiting for Apis Melliflora and Piscis to fruit - we'll be having bee eaters and kingfishers in the future cat By the way, I heard that kingfisher likes some colors more than others - is that true? I have indigo and green flowers right now..

The Wildlife Guide says that Kingfishers prefer some colours over others. I have a vague hunch that they are the colours of the Kingfisher itself in the picture - blue, green, orange. But I can't remember whether I got that from the gardens, the discussions boards, or made it up! That's just what I'm going to try when I get to that level. Smile

I spotted a kingfisher in a garden where there was only one fish, and it was red. I expressed surprise to the garden owner and she said she had had several come for that one fish. So I think red may be significant.

I've repeatedly heard that blue is one of the preferred colours. My garden isn't high enough level to try it myself yet.
