Diamond hunting tips & tricks Empty Diamond hunting tips & tricks

Post  Laura Mon Jan 19, 2009 2:54 pm

Thank you very much to Abby (and a few others) for putting together this list of tips and tricks for diamond hunting.
Visit Abby: https://apps.facebook.com/fbfairy/fairygarden.php?id=1809314

1. Be well-fed. If you're very hungry, it doesn't work very well.

2. Don't be frustrated. If you feel yourself getting frustrated, visit the DB and engage in some constructive stuff. Like, helping people who don't know how to harvest. Or just shut the computer off and spend time with a book.

3. It's pure instinct, many times. Sometimes you just have to click the mushroom you FEEL has the diamond under it. Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, feel the Force flowing through you... (kidding, half, but it works!)

4. Visit Mike's garden first thing in the morning to say hi. I found 3 diamonds there this morning.

5. I've noticed that I find them better in the less busy gardens with MM. Some gardens haven't been watered for 45 minutes. Those gardens don't seem to be as easy. Go through your friends list and find a garden with MM that hasn't been watered for at least 3 hours.

6. When the MM game wants to be easy , the diamond is under the different mushroom...

7. Also, if you have a younger sibling or son or someone who loves to yell "No not that one!" when you're playing, it's best to either listen to him if he's naturally good, or shut him up if he just wants to be annoying.

8. Always remember that this is a game, not life and death. Very Happy

Look for reveal patterns, they are there!

When the MM game wants to be easy , the diamond is under the different mushroom...

And you're better off hunting in the mushroom games in the gardens, not in the whispering mushroom.

Also, if you have a younger sibling or son or someone who loves to yell "No not that one!" when you're playing, it's best to either listen to him if he's naturally good, or shut him up if he just wants to be annoying.

Always remember that this is a game, not life and death.

I also find that sometimes the other mushrooms point to the one that has the diamond. (NOT EVERY TIME, but enough to be noticed.)pay attention! The number of times I've watered an entire garden and not noticed until the very last plant that there is a garden game is truely unbelievable. And slightly embarassing! Lol

Just wondered..... #4. Where is Mike's garden? Not come across it.

Totally agree with #7. My 4yr old picks out diamonds everytime, it's like a 6th sense! I've even
called her in to the room especially for it, weird!!
(she's not too hot with snail racing mind!) Wink

Yes, I've seen one or two.
They are one of the creatures you can create in Alchemy, along with butterflies, frogs and snails. I can't remember if you need a certain superpower level to then turn it into a diamond ... Neutral

isn't there something about the superpowers not applying in the same way to new newcomers to fairyland now, or something? i'm sure now that when the app is added the fairy is granted 20 diamonds, oh dagnammit, i've got pictures somewhere with all this info on it, but i can't find them, i found some pictures of my garden from before christmas though, then lost them again too:( back on track though, worms, yeah, they work sometimes, i tried to make one a few weeks ago and failed:( if you do a lot of alchemy though, your bound to get a few, perhaps, i mean if they're still around:)

Diamond hunting tips & tricks Empty Acquiring Diamonds

Post  auntikrist Sun Jul 05, 2009 10:08 pm

Well, after playing for over a year now, I have decided that I am cursed as it is difficult for me to ever score diamonds. I simply have little or no luck and looking for the fattest mushroom doesn't seem to have anything to do with the issue, for me. I have gotten so frustrated with not finding diamonds that I rarely ever play the mushroom game unless I am low on items like the socks and crystals, etc. I don't like asking for diamond dust either. I just wish I had a better knack for finding the little stinkers.

I need an alchemy or herbal formula that will find a diamond every time, I think. Sad
