Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]

Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]
Enter the secluded glade - sit on the soft, sunlight-dappled moss - listen to the warm wind softly rustling the leaves - and dream ...
My garden is currently Level 12, and I'm shamelessy diamond dusting my Chie Bonsai when I have diamonds to spare.
Here are the first screenshots I took of my garden, when it was looking particularly nice (and birthday-ish!).
As you can see, I prefer bottles, shells, teacups and pink pots for planting. I'm a little sorry that we have to have special bonsai pots - I don't think they are as cute as the others.

Re: Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]
I got so busy looking for wildlife, I forgot that my bonsai was still not fully grown, and that I could still DD it.
So I've just dumped everything I had onto it.
Now I hope I can find enough diamonds in the next day or so to revive my mini-mushrooms game when it runs out!

Lesson #1:
*Don't harvest fruit, plant more seeds, then buy more food when I still have sleepy-dust in my eyes ...
I wanted to have something new in my garden, so harvested two Fructus Randomuses (which had done a great job of attracting totoises), and a Luna Serena. Thought I'd concentrate on attracting some of the squirrel family for a bit, since I'm still in the Bonsai stages.
Bought a plate of peanuts ...
... Forgot to read the 'How to Keep Out' info and now realise that I still have a flowering Carmena Aviflora in my garden --which I need to level up, and which deters Chipmunks and Grey Squirrels. And I have nothing for Red Squirrels.
At least I bought the cheap nuts.

Re: Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]
My Taiyo Bonsai is fully grown. One week to go till it fruits and I say farewell to the bonsai levels!
Can't wait - I definitely prefer flowers.

Through the Bonsai Levels!
Yay! I got a pleasant surprise last night when I saw that my Taiyo Bonsai had fruited!
I didn't give it much of a chance to beautify my garden --tee hee!-- it got harvested and put to use in the Herbalism pot pretty smartly.
I'll keep the green veges out for the Easter Bunnies for as long as daffodils can be grown.

Easter Garden
Here's a screen shot of my garden today just before another daffodil fruited, which was then harvested:
These are my first two Praecocias.
Over the last few days I've been spending more gold than I've had coming in - haven't had much luck in finding Easter Bunnies in other people's gardens either. Today I played Magical Mushrooms in the hope of winning some key Alchemy ingredients. In three games I found one of a 10-gold pair! So close to finding the second ones ... I've never seen so many 10-gold pairs pop up before!
Off to work now. Somebody please spot the next critter in my garden - feeding table is about due for another visit!

Re: Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]
I'm currently working through the Praecocia levels - finding the right pots by trial and error, and a process of elimination.
Here's my garden, as of yesterday, with some of the Praecocia gems:
Sadly, they had to go to make room for a feeding table. The Lunas are fruiting - bring on the Badger(s)!

Re: Lucinda's Little Glade of Imagining (NZ) [Level 42]
I've just been updating my 'first critter' posts. This morning I finally got a Red Squirrel to my garden, which completes my set of the original furry critters!
So currently, with my garden at 1 year old, I'm on Level 19 and waiting for the frogs to flower from the Lilium Ranidae.
Can't wait till I get to grow fishies in bubbles and the chance to attract a Kingfisher - I love Kingfishers!

Gardening Progress
My garden is currently at Level 23, but I haven't planted my Fructus Odonata yet. I've been taking a little 'time out' of leveling up because I love the look of my flowering Cumulus Amoras too much!
Critters still to attract: Armadillo, Kiwi, Bee Eater, Roadrunner
Critters still to spot: Kiwi, Roadrunner, Pair of Magpies
~~~~~~~~
ETA: Well, one of my Cumulus Amoras fruited tonight, so the Fructus Odonata has been planted.
Themed Garden
Halloween Garden - I love how you can see the flying witches through the ghosts.
Garden of flowering Planetais
My Planetarium!
I could have harvested the mushroom and kept a food table out for Halloween critters while waiting for the Planetais to fruit, but that felt like a waste of a mushroom.
Thank you to the all the fairies who kept my garden alive by watering and reviving wilters!
