"WELL I DIDN'T KNOW THAT....!"

Seems blindingly obvious now and I feel slightly dumb it took so long for the penny to drop,
but I've just realised something which I think is worth mentioning cuz I'm
probably not the only one!

• If you become FB friends with the owner of a garden you saved as a favourite, you can then delete them from the fave list, thus enabling you to fave some new ones! Durr!
  

I've just freed up 6 fave spaces! how stoopid do I feel?!!


Wondering if anyone else made a similar discovery, either by chance or thru a tip off???

well, my nephew had been started to add his friends to his favourites, i can see that that sort of bahaviour could be useful if you have thousands of friends with gardens but i'm pretty sure that he's only got two:/ well, i say that but really they're his mums:)

I wish we could have more favourites, and organise them. I want folders, so I can separate out my friends (who aren't FB friends, but with whom I have become friendly via Fairyland, if you see what I mean); the couple of gardens that regularly supply me with wilters; gardens attracting different types of wildlife; oh yes, and the gardens where I KNOW something is going to be coming along any time now!

That's all I want. Is it too much, d'you think??

Oh I totally agree with you. This is going to sound silly, but I've made a Word document with an additional 18 addresses to gardens that I know should have lops in at some point, because I don't have enough favourite spots any more and I don't want to lose my current favs. If I could add the lop gardens as special favourites that would make life much easier.

That's not silly, Liz, and I have started a folder of bookmarked Fairy Gardens, but it's a pain that it isn't right there where I want it.

Btw, I am going to have to abandon your garden to others in a minute, and go and do some real gardening. I do hope someone spots a lop today!

That's a real good idea Liz!

Even better would be a note page tab in your garden where we could keep notes & names & stuff, like a fairy diary/addresses/notebook!

Like last night I read a garden owner was keeping a timeline on when she found all the various wildlife to help in her hunt!
Good idea but I'm a bit put off by having to open up word or whatever whilst in fairyland, switchin windows from here to there, everytime you wanna make a note! Call me fussy lol!!!

I had a "well, I didn't know that!" moment today.

I didn't know you had to 'click here' on the Find Gold page to claim your daily free mini mushrooms games. I thought they just accumulated automatically. And yes, I was wondering why some were going missing - thought it was just me going a bit mental.

I have just realised that there is now a 'garden' link in fairies' garden wall posts. There used to just be 'reply' which took you to their profile.
Now we have the choice of visiting their profile or their garden! Cool!

Hee hee April. I had noticed there was something a bit different along the bottom of posts but I didn't register on what it was until I accidentally clicked on garden instead of reply (just before work!) and I agree, it is very cool!

I had no idea that the frogs from the fruited Lilium Ranidae cycled between the two types; one with the fly and one without! I always thought you just had to make do with what first appeared!

Yes, I noticed that when mine were fruiting. But I didn't notice how long they stayed as one or the other.

I'm not entirely sure, April. But I saw it in a garden I usually visit at least twice a day and according to the messages I had posted on her wall, I commented on the frog appearing 4 days 23 hours ago and then mentioned it had changed 1 day 22 hours ago. So I'm guessing maybe 2 to 3 days?

Really? I've not noticed that before, whenever I've spotted a critter in a garden with snail racing, I haven't gotten to play the game as well.....glitch maybe?

Ahhh, maybe it was a glitch. *nod* I definitely got a snail race after spotting a critter that one time in any case.
Sometimes I miss things that are very obvious, so just wanted to check.

After reading your posts, I wondered why no one justs adds them to their computers favorites or bookmarks. You can store unlimited favs there. I don't even use FLs favs anymore because of the lack of room. Just a suggestion.
