I have just spent some time in the discussion boards on Fairyland and I want to know:

WHAT THE HECK ARE WE DOING WRONG OVER HERE??

Let me explain (oh, go on, let me explain...)

We have no awards or certificates, for a start, and there are any amount of arguments just waiting to be had over these, our right to give them out, how we decide who should receive them, whether Mike will approve of them and whether we will be breaching copyright with them. I really think we should get straight into THAT one.

We don't have any blatant rows going on, involving downright rudeness to one another, the absolute rejection of another's right to their own view, the criticism of people for themselves, rather than the objective debating of their point of view, the airing of private email exchanges, and the general belittling of one another, deary.

We don't tell people how to conduct themselves, either in Fairyland or in real life.

We don't use bad language, or close approximations to it.

In short, we are all FAR too nice for our own good, and I am going to set that straight right now.

Here I go:

Ronald, I really don't like that you have sent Marmaduke off on his own in Fairyland and I think it's grossly irresponsible of you.

Phew, that was nasty, wasn't it? I bet he's reeling now.

AND another thing...we have no-one who doesn't understand that you don't form plurals with the use of apostrophes (obviously what I really mean is apostrophy's) telling others to learn to write.

Why doesn't this happen here? I'm very worried about what we are all missing out on.

^_^ sorry so late, i've been a bit preoccupied with other stuff, maybe i shouldn't apologise but i do feel a bit wrong for not keeping up with the things* here:/
i've tried and tried to understand this apostrophe thing and general grammatical stuff and my brain just doesn't want to know:/ almost to the point of deciding to go full out writing in text type shorthand err, as in gr8 and stuff... err, ^_^

don't worry about marmaduke, he has a wonderful time of it not being ordered about the place and generally chasing the critters around his scouting grounds, as much fun he can't have when they only show their faces when we water a plant, err, in short, don't panic, his nose has smelt out somethings big coming this way... which should be good but i'm sure it's lost somewhere in translation:)
oh yeah, he's back now, honestly no fairy or fairyesk thing could ever dent him in any way;)

we had those magpies come to us pretty spediciously if that's a word, if not then they were similar i'm sure and no hassle at all, possibly the trick is in not being bothered about missing them, they're evil after all^_^
i've been doing bad things too, i'm sure it'll all kick-off when you find out about them, but for now, mwahahahaha and stuff^_^

i spotted an ostrich t'other day but was using my friends fairy showing them how easy it is to find mice:(
