Re: Loveflower!!!
Oh cool! I have space but I'll have to get my wilt balance back up so I can plant one!
(Had a little run of bad luck with the wilting ... eh-heh. )

Re: Loveflower!!!
Someone on the main DB said that the Loveflower flowers after 3-4 days and fruits after 7.
I haven't seen anything more definite, but this would make sense since the seed will only be available for 2 weeks - so it will be gone from our gardens after, say, 21st Feb.
I'm a fairly new member of Fairyland and this will be my first non-Xmas Limited Edition plant. I would love to have had the older ones like the Iceflower. Does anyone know if Mike plans to re-release old LE plants again at the right time of year? It would be a waste to have them only once....
I'm thinking too of the pink pot for the Breast Cancer Awareness plant. Presumably next Christmas there will be another tree - I can't imagine this not being repeated.

New Love Flower!
I guess you all know that we have special Valentine's flower to grow
But I can't find any image of it (I was sure that someone will dust it up pretty soon!)
I really want to see it

Unfortunately it can't be Diamond Dusted, so we've all just got to be patient!!!! Something I'm not good at!!!
Re: Loveflower!!!
I was about to say the same... I wonder what it's going to be, we already have different kind of roses and the fruit...
Loveflower
I bought a Bellis this morning without ever scrolling down to check for anything new. Maybe we could ask for the Limited Edition seeds to be at the top of the shop, so that we notice them. I'm waiting for something to fruit now, so that I have another empty pot. I really want one of these!
Re: Loveflower!!!
Taking note of some things a really clever ninja fairy said on another topic about multi planting Limited edition stuff....
I've already planted 2 (from a couple of nicely timed bird song notes that I harvested last night) & I'm hoping that my other stuff will all harvest before 14th Feb so I can buy another 5 - just in case they don't come back next year! (Only managed 1 poinsettia & 1 Christmas Tree so I really hope they come back!).
Exciting to see how they will flower & what they will fruit!

Re: Loveflower!!!
Wondering what the Loveflower will look like. Looking at the seed, I would guess that it resembles the flower pattern of the Opis Centiflora and O Magniflora - many flowerheads on one stem. Both have 'pistachio' style seeds in pods. Just a guess, it's exciting to have a mystery!

Good call! And the fruit would be many hearts? Now that would be very cool. Guess we just wait and see now...
Loveflower
If it flowers in 3 days as suspected, mine is due in approx 24/25 hrs from now, I'm gonna assume they will all fruit on Valentines day, rather like the Birthday plant, only guesing mind, it's often I'm right so once again I could be wrong!!!
Re: Loveflower!!!
It's less than 2 days for most of them, and they all have 2 leaves.
I'm not sure about the pistachio nut theory... if I remember correctly the Opis plants grew up like the Stella Velleflora... with little tiny leaves and such, while this plant has 2 big leaves so far. Can't wait!

Re: Loveflower!!!
Ok guys, I now have two flowering in my garden and they are facing slightly different ways. So I will check on them regularly to see if they move, like the Xmas trees changed baubles, or if they are static and you can just get multiple types. This is so much fun! Thanks Mike!!!
Re: Loveflower!!!
Mine are blooming too! I think the colour resembles magnolia. They sure are looking into different directions - maybe they are just shy and don't want to face each other?

Re: Loveflower!!!
How cool - 5 different flowers! I guess the fruits will be different too. It's awesome, especially in my "Bonsai Times"

Oh they are so pretty - I've just planted two more . What a great time to only have to be growing a bonsai! Yippee!!
Re: Loveflower!!!
Me too - they are so lovely but I just don't have any empty pots at the moment... I also wish I had planted a Carmena Uniflora or two. Their pink flower would be nice on Valentine's day but it didn't cross my mind last week... Well maybe next year...
