Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
I am a recent level 6 garden, here is a picture of my garden as it is at the moment. I think it looks rather pretty but not as beautiful as it has done in the past (back before I knew about screenshots!) When the Bellis lycaenas are harvested, they will complete the double-ups required for later levels. However, I am very fond of these colourful flowers and will probably grow many more as I work my way through the levels.
I have my third platter of food out and the following wildlife have been found in my garden.
I am seriously considering planting more Luna serenas when the butterflies are gone, to attract that elusive badger! (Hopefully finding the 5th elixir will provide the gold for that ambition.)

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Finally, all my Bellis Lycaenas are ready to harvest and my Luna Serenas have bloomed. I am now waiting for my Herb to flower so I can find that 5th elixir and plant my Apis Melliflora (after harvesting one Moon) and some more Lunas, all of which I will shamelessly DD.
By the way, I am a compulsive rearranger of my garden layout. It is very rare for me leave my garden as is once a plant has reached another stage. So if you visit my garden in Fairyland, and think the link has taken you somewhere else, it hasn't, I have just been moving things about again!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
It is my Birthday today and for my present my last Luna Serena has finally flowered
Right about now though, I am hanging out for them to fruit (tsk, tsk, tsk, some people are never satisfied!)
I am feeling a little bit frustrated with having all the same plants, it does play havoc with my enjoyment in the rearranging of my garden, there are only so many ways you can place the pots!
Having said that, I do hope that a chipmunk may come along before fruiting time! So far, my garden has only attracted many mice and several grey squirrels (the only animals I have spotted as well!).

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
I am delighted to say that I can now amend my previous post, as I have just spotted a brown bunny! Yay for bunnies!
Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
And while there is still 1 minute until my Birthday is over, I also found a tortoise
Tee Hee!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
While I am waiting for something exciting to happen in my garden (like maybe a badger visiting!) I thought I would post a picture of Mercedes' garden that I found on my computer (or rather my 8 year old son did) of what it looked like quite a while ago, circa Valentine's Day I should imagine, going by the love flowers. Back then I didn't know about screenshots so had saved the whole web page. It was rather bizarre to click on plants that were long harvested and being given the option to water them! Anyways, I reckon it looked quite lovely then (although I am itching to rearrange those pots!) so thought I might share.
Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Finally all my Lunas have fruited and I have my Apis melliflora and Nightrose herb firmly planted.
No badgers in sight yet but I am feeling much better about the way my garden looks. Primarily because it is noticeable when I do my little rearrangements!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Well, to date nothing particularly exciting has happened in my garden (apart from levelling up.....of course!) Two badgers have been missed despite so many lovely fairy's best efforts. A bit disillusioning but at least I know they like my garden!
Currently I have taken a rest from badger-attracting and have put out a platter of green veges which will hopefully, along with my two beautiful daffodils, bring in the easter bunny.
(fingers crossed!)

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Thought it was about time I updated my garden journal. I had intended to update when a badger was found in my garden....a week or two ago....but forgot! I should have been absolutely beside myself with excitement....but unfortunately after a month of trying I was just glad to being able to rid myself of those Lunas! (although they did bring me 21 hedgehog visits!) Quite frankly, finding Linda's first tortoise was a much bigger thrill.....some people are just sooo hard to please
Unfortunately I have just discovered that I also forgot to take a screenshot and my notifications history just doesn't go back far enough....so no badger picture!
Hopefully, I will remember to take one when I spot the little blighter!
Instead here is a picture I took today, of the first tortoise spotted in my garden....hooray! I wasn't hopeful that he would arrive due to the two common fruits which appeared (especially as they were less than 24 hours old) but was absolutely delighted when he did!
An added bonus is that as I'm not particularly fond of the fructus plants, I am very pleased that I won't have to plant any more...hee hee!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
While organising pictures this morning......I was delighted to discover a picture of my spotted badger!
Connor had actually taken the screen shot and put in his picture folder, hence why I didn't come across it yesterday.....don't go in there very often.
What a wee gem!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
I just had to post another picture of my garden....I think it looks very lovely just now.
(and notice how the plant colours match the mixed veges? I couldn't have planned it better...hee hee!)

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
I have just had the first Lop to visit my garden spotted....Yippee!!!! Sadly, the person who spotted it didn't post on my wall....considering it was the first Lop they had discovered as well, I was quite surprised! But never mind, I am sure they had their reasons and the result is the same for me......a Lop has been spotted in my garden!!!
I am also hoping that an Ostrich may come and visit me....hence the Solaris Ignifloras. Fingers crossed!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Well, the Ostrich didn't show up by the end of my last plate of mixed veges so I refilled with mixed nuts and not long afterwards a chipmunk arrived....Yippee!
Now just a red squirrel and the list of original critters will be complete!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
Finally......the last of the original critters has been spotted in my garden!! YIPPEE! What makes it even more exciting is it was the spotters first red squirrel too!!!!!
I almost wish that I didn't have to plant the final bonsai to get to level 14, but then again...there's still the Parrot that likes the Taiyo, how fabulous would it be if he arrived next week...!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
I was delighted yesterday to see that my Flora Praecocias had all fruited into beautiful gems! Of course, there was very little opportunity for anyone else to admire them as I couldn't wait to level up and plant the Rosas...especially that purple one, what a gorgeous colour!
Thank goodness for screen shots!!

Re: Mercedes' Garden (NZ)
This afternoon, my Rosa Praecocia fruited into beautifully coloured jewels!
(It is so hard to believe that when I started this journal, I was only a recent level 6 ..... and now I have a level 16 garden...yippee! )
The Solaris were planted to attract an Ostrich (my original ones, way back then, failed to do so) and I was delighted when two visited! They are due to fruit soon into those lovely rays of light...I considered removing them before the event but thankfully Linda talked me out of it...I know now, I would have regretted it if I had done.
Currently I am waiting for a plate of birdseed to be finished and then I will Diamond Dust my Taiyo to full growth and put out some mixed nuts. It would be lovely if I received a visit from a Australian King Parrot on the first plate, but after searching for one to spot for so long, I realise this is highly unlikely. Never mind, I may be lucky and even if I am not, I will be planting at least one more cloud plant to increase my chances of having a kiwi visit, so will end up alternating between nuts and bird mix no doubt!

Rays of Sunshine
Just had to share one more picture. I am so pleased I left the Solaris plants to do their thing ...I don't think there is a more beautiful fruit in all of Fairyland, especially against the blue sky in the background!
Kiwi and Australian King Parrot
Since my last update I have had a kiwi spotted in my garden and thought I would use the picture of the cute little fella to show my last 2 praecocias in their fruiting glory!
But that's not all! Just recently, the Legendary Linda also spotted the very first Parrot to visit my garden...I was absolutely thrilled!!! (Did a bit of editing to include her post, it was the first I knew about it and had to read it several times before looking at the plate...) WOO HOO!!!

Frog and Piscis
Finally my little frog arrived and I was excited to see he was the one eyeing up the fly....little things amuse me!
Of course (as always) I was rather impatient to level up, so he was released from suspended animation to catch his lunch and I got to plant my first four Piscis plants!
These are the original colours that appeared as well so I was quite delighted that I did not have to use gold dust straight away. But I did make good use of the fabulous new fruiting dust, so should have fishies within the next 4 to 5 days.....what a fantabulous creation that lovely pink dust is!
After a frustrating time where I struggled with the appearance of my garden, I can happily say I am pleased with the way it looks at the moment. The Piscis flowers are very pretty and the Prickly Pear is, in my opinion, the most attractive cactus to date! It will also hopefully attract an Armadillo and a Road Runner at some point...fingers crossed!

Fish, sunny butterflies and heart shaped clouds
Time for a multiple update to my Garden Journal! I just love this place so much, I can come back and check out how much everything has changed and admire previous blooms and fruit that I may never see in my garden again
First up is my fruited Piscis plants, I of course, arranged them so that they appeared to be having conversations with each other, my first screen shot just made them look so unsocial...
These lovely fish (well, the green and the blue one...the others disappeared so I could level up) brought 3 Kingfishers to my garden
Then there were the pretty sunshine butterflies...
..and the fruited Cumulus Amora!
Below is how my garden looks today. I have planted an Aviflora to repel geckos and a second Prickly Pear cactus as the Armadillo refuses to make an appearance, even though everything has been ready for him for THREE weeks!! (however, my prickly pear DID bring in a Road Runner so it's not all bad. )
I have also planted my favourite Flora Praecocia (another good thing about this forum, I just had to look back at my previous Garden pics to see which pot to use!) in anticipation of future Magpie visits! Just need to get that Armadillo sorted first...
