Re: The place where you can shout: "Hey! I just spotted a ......"!!
I have to say that I have had a very good day with spotting wildlife! All due to Linda!! She gave me three garden links just before she went to bed and all three had wonderful results!
The first (in which I was hoping to find a badger) netted me that garden owners first Lop.......I just love firsts! In the second, I spotted my first Ostrich and the third is where I finally spotted a Badger....Woo Hoo!
Thank you Linda!

My goodness! All these wonderful creatures ... well done all! I'm still lagging with a Badger and Red Squirrel to go before I can concentrate on the birds.

Hey! I just spotted a completely serendipitous parrot. It was in a garden I had bookmarked as 'insect eaters', because that's what they were doing the last time I was there, and I watered without really looking because I need a lark, and there he was in all his glory:

Oh, he's a beauty! What a lucky find!
(I missed out on a Red Squirrel by less than a minute last night. )

Wheeee! I just spotted my first Red Squirrel!
I'd been feeling a bit dejected today as my morning sprinkles had yielded little (a Field Mouse or two), and then I found a Mallard in my own garden this afternoon ... sheesh
So I was just killing time before I have to get ready for work, and spotted a Brown Bunny, then in the very next garden I visited out popped a Red Squirrel. There were no red flowers in the garden, just a Taiyo Bonsai, and it was the garden's first Red also. Someone had watered a plant just 8 minutes before, so I really wasn't expecting anything.
Boy do I feel lucky now! Makes up for not having a Badger visit my garden yet.

Hurrah! Well done April! Finding your own mallard is very sad though
Re: The place where you can shout: "Hey! I just spotted a ......"!!
I just found the first Badger to Liz's garden! It was awesome!
Maybe if I keep him and let him amble around my garden, he'll coax a friend out of hiding. (Still hoping to attract one to my garden.)

I spotted my first bird that wasn't a mallard - it was pretty exciting!
Re: The place where you can shout: "Hey! I just spotted a ......"!!
Yay, Liz and April, I'm so happy for you! Wink
I'm trying to attract a badger here myself - finished with rabbits. I had 3 badgers once, one after another, and no one spotted them // hope they will come again..

You did! And I am so pleased because I REALLY want to get rid of those bees! But I will wait till the end of this tray in case another one wants to come along. Then it's the parrot for me!
