Re: Random Ramblings
Or a Luna Velleflora?
Those sunshine butterflies were very pretty. What do you reckon the fruit of the Cumulus Amora will be? A pink or red heart shaped cloud maybe?

Re: Random Ramblings
i reckon there could very well be moths too, with Luna Lycaena:)
the names could start being a bit confusing though very quickly, err, for me at least^_^
i'm not sure a Luna Velleflora would work though, would that make it a "Shooting Moon Fruit?" sorry, that would be great but i can't picture it, err...
actually... it could work easy yeah different colour moons
marmaduke thinks the Cumulus Amora being something heart-shaped and fluffy for sure^_^

Re: Random Ramblings
how cool would it be if wee could cross-pollinate with other flowers ourselves, with bees and possibly humming birds and thing, hmmm... err, i just got thinking about all the combinations and got around to the idea it would make for a much better challenge if several seeds were released at the same time.
maybe four at a time over 10 levels or so^_^
err, it would take a while to setup of course...

I think that would be just right! Three Percys at the same time would be quite something!
Glad Charm is back safe...maybe I will have a little try on him later...
Re: Random Ramblings
Ah I left for a few days and Fairyland has something completely new! I'm glad that the boards over there are possibly on their way to being more organized.Marmaduke wrote:i'm' trying to get my head around the other other board too now:/

[vent] Ugh who knew wedding planning would be so miserable. Honestly it's the churches that are making me so frustrated. I feel like they are exploiting couples who want a wedding in a church. I don't understand how these churches feel good charging couples so much for a 30-60 minute ceremony. [/vent]

Re: Random Ramblings
Oh you poor thing Laura. If the churches insist on charging these exorbitant fees is it any wonder so few people get married in one now? I'm sure you will get it all sorted though, wedding planning is traditionally a stressful time, but the end result is sooo worth it!
Re: Random Ramblings
Aww thanks. I need to keep telling myself that all the drama of planning will be over relatively soon and I get to enjoy being with him for the rest of my life. I think once the ceremony location issue gets resolved, I won't be quite as stressed.Mercon wrote:Oh you poor thing Laura. Re: Random Ramblings
Fun! I can't fit a new pot in though...it will upset the arrangements waaaaay too much!!
Re: Random Ramblings
Yay! Thanks!! Decided to sacrifice the feeding table while my garden's not doing much so I could have one. Once the fructus are fruiting I'll harvest the least rare and then try for a tortoise. Thanks again!April&Lucinda wrote:*happy dance*

Lent
Emily, how are you calculating?
Lent equals 40 days and 40 nights and starts on Ash Wednesday. It ends on Palm Sunday, which is the Sunday before Easter Sunday (to quote some of my American pals, 'do the math'!!). That is 40 days and 40 nights. And that is what Anglicans go with.
There are some variants, however. Some people go with the 40 days and 40 nights from Ash Wednesday, but they take the weekends off, lol, which takes them to Easter Sunday, but they have had the usual fun on Saturdays and Sundays all the way through.
And the Roman Catholics, who love a little punishment, go all the way from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday, but they don't need to, because if you check a calendar, that is more than 40 days.
Get back to your garden, is my advice, you've done the biz!!

I'm sitting with Emily right now, and she says that she goes to Easter, but doesn't take weekends off as she feels that is like cheating.
Re: Random Ramblings
Well I take my hat off to her, but she goes too far!! I stopped today. Jesus did 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness, and that's good enough for me! And boy was the pizza, wine and cake goooood...
Re: Random Ramblings
I do admire people than can give up favourite things and never cheat! It will be so nice to see your garden growing again Emily
How are those Wedding plans coming along Laura? Have you found a reasonable venue yet?
