Ronald is pretty much right. A sticky is a thread that cannot be bumped because it is "stuck" at the top of the page. No matter how many threads are created, the stickies stay at the top so that everyone can find them.

And as far as etiquette, be polite and respectful to everyone and you shouldn't have a problem.

I know that an art contest was mentioned, and I think that is a great idea. I used the photo from the fan page for the forum's logo, but if we could have something more personal, that would awesome.

Out of curiousity, how many people here wrote their profile as their fairies or as themselves?

Neither is wrong, Im just interested to know if Im the only crazy person who is apparently turning into her fairy. Razz

i was about to count them and realised that that would take longer than i would like to spend, i reckon it's about 60-40 in favour of the fairy moniker.

I thought I'd better be both as there are quite a few Starlight fairies in Fairyland! Laughing

I confused myself the other day which is why I had to put in the special characters into her name!

Although I don't think I've seen anyone else with a plump fairy lol!

I have an idea that the plump fairies are all embarrassed to be seen & mine is a bit more bubbly & outgoing than the others so she just doesn't care! She says it's the light inside not the frame that carries it!

I'm here as myself - I found the thought of Firiana using smiley faces and talking about computers and posting and stuff a little out of character. I'm glad I was quick with my registration; Anne is such a common name that it's usually always taken wherever I try to sign up. I also thought that people wouldn't recognize me if I'd use my fairy name but I guess I was wrong - I recognize most of you guys. Like a Star @ heaven
